Summary

The objective of Plus Seven is to teach basic arithmetic to young users. Unlike similar computer programs, Plus Seven offers a complete curriculum similar to that given in schools.
To achieve its objective, Plus Seven implements Trial and Error techniques and interactive computer response. Depending on the student skill and knowledge, the teacher sets the way the program interacts with the user and the range of exercises in any chapter. In a given chapter the student can, at his own pace, watch and listen to the illustration presented by the program in response to his request. Furthermore, for every chapter Plus Seven generates tens of exercises and checks the user's answer, if it is correct it will run a sequence of events designed to amuse the user and can be customized by the teacher, otherwise it will demonstrate how to solve the exercise and reveal the correct answer.
Plus Seven is specially designed for young users. The music, the colors, the scenes, the pictures, and the indicative voice expressions, all, make using Plus Seven an enjoyable experience whether in school or at home.
Plus Seven is designed in a course fashion. Its material is usually given to students from K - 2.
